Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
About IQAC
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) recommends that every accredited institution establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a key component of quality sustenance. IQAC acts as a central unit for driving continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance.
VSPM Madhuribai Deshmukh Institute of Nursing Education, Nagpur established IQAC in 2019 with the major goal of improving quality education and pursuing the three-step action plan:
- Providing quality education
- Student performance evaluation
- Achieving NAAC accreditation
Aims
- To develop a system of conscious and consistent action to improve academic and administrative performance.
- To establish quality assurance through internalization of quality culture and best practices.
Goals
- To promote research and scientific publications by the faculty.
- To motivate faculty for continuing education by attending conferences, workshops and short-term courses.
- To depute faculty to attend short term courses appropriate for professional knowledge and skill development.
- To promote and assist in acquiring higher education for the faculty.
