WORKSHOP ON FIRE SAFETY
Workshop was organised on Fire Safety at VSPM MDINE on 03/10/2019. Fire Safety Officer, NKP SIMS, Mr. R.L. Sharma, Guest Speaker deliver Lecture on Fire Safety.
Demonstration on handling of Fire Extinguisher was done by Mr. N.M. Jawle, Fire Safety Officer, Ordnance factory, after demonstration Mock Drill was performed by all Teaching, No-Teaching Staff and Students.
WORLD HEART DAY
VSPM MDINE Department of Medical Surgical Nursing has celebrated World Heart Day on 25/09/2019 and 01/10/2019 in Community and in College respectively. Health awareness programme was organized in Community on risk factor of Cardiovascular diseases and lifestyle modification to prevent cardiovascular diseases. Health Camp was organized to identify the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases.
Slogan competition was organized in College on theme My Heart Your Heart a Heart Heroes 2019. Guest Speaker Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Prof. VSPM College of Physiotherapy has delivered Lecture on lifestyle Modification to prevent cardiovascular diseases followed by activity session on various alternative therapies.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION ON 9TH SEPTEMBER,2019 AT MATOSHREE SABHAGHRUH
Turned to be very special with the gracious presence of our dear Chief Guest Mrs. Kaveriji Talvekar former director VSPM MDINE, Nagpur. Programme was started with Lamp Lighting Ceremony and welcoming of Chief Guest.
The anchor on the day was Ms. Sampada Gajbhiye, 2nd Basic B.Sc. Nursing &
Ms. Manisha Pardhi from 2nd Year GNM.
Programme was ended with vote of thanks.
WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION
THEME : SUICIDE PREVENTION.
On 9th & 10th Oct, 2019 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY celebrated at VSPM MDINE and Psychiatric OPD respectively.The programme was organized by department of Psychiatric. In this programme 3rd Year Basic B.Sc. Nsg, Post Basic B.Sc. & 1st & 2nd Year M.Sc. Nsg. Students have taken active participation.
On 11th October,2019 World Menopause Day Celebration conducted at Lata Mangeshkar Hospital in front of ANC OPD and Skit was presented by Basic B.Sc. & M.Sc. Nursing Students.
Seminar Report
Seminar on “Writing For Research Grant” was conducted by VSPM MDINE at Nightingle Hall, LMH campus, Digdoh Hills, Nagpur by Research Department on 19/09/19 from 2 pm to 4pm. Inauguration was done by Principal Mrs. Asha Shimgekar and an introduction regarding the Speaker – Dr. Suresh Ughade was given by Lecturer VSPM MDINE Ms Varsha Hambarde. Dr Suresh Ughade gave a detailed explanations regarding skills to write Research Grant. It was followed by discussion. Programme was concluded with vote of thanks by C/I Pheba Thomas .
World Diabetes Day – 2019
On the occasion of “World Diabetes Day” Diabetes Care Foundation of India (Nagpur) in collaboration with Sunil’s Diabetes Care n’ Research Centre (DCRC) along with TNAI (Vidarbha chapter) has organized 5th Annual Workshop on Diabetes for Nurses (NUCON) on Thursday 14th Nov 2019 at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium, Reshim Baug, Nagpur this awareness program was attended by our faculty members and students of our Nursing College.
It was really a wonderful and informative session we were extremely happy to attend such knowledgeable event. We are grateful to our Principal for giving this chance to attend.
Diabetes day in Nursing College on 20.11.19
World Diabetes Day is observed annually on 14 November. It is necessary to make people aware of the health effects of Diabetes and how it is increasing day by day in the world, affecting people’s health and no doubt is a major global health issue. Together only we can fight with the disease. Therefore VSPM MDINE arranged this program to make aware about Diabetes in the college campus which was organized by MSN Dept under the guidance of Mrs. Lata Sukare HOD & Professor of Medical Surgical Nursing. The overall responsibility was given to Ms. Stuti Sunar, Lecturer MSN with the efforts of students from, P.B.B.Sc Nsg. 1st yr.
