EMERGENCY DISASTER MANAGEMENT
Disaster management measures can help removing people and property from a threatened location by facilitating timely and effective rescue, relief and rehabilitation at the place of disaster thereby reducing loss of property, protecting people and reducing trauma among people.
As the student reaches third year, skill based training is given to them, that is Emergency & Disaster Management. This training increases student’s knowledge & practice that they implement evidence based practices. A 2-3 day session is planned for them, where teachers take
theoretical as well practical classes for students.
Topics like bioterrorism, disaster preparedness & management; PTSD, emergency management
etc are taken. A mock drill of fire & safety is also organized.
OBJECTIVES
1 To prepare the students how to deal in emergency & disaster situation.
2 To ensure an effective & coordinated response during disaster.
3 To build the competencies in improving the preparedness & response time.

UDBHAV 2019-20

Udbhav-“Rising with Glory”, an induction program of 2-3 days is exclusively planned forfresher students. This program creates an inclusive environment to make the integration of the new students into the college as smooth as free of anxiety as possible. Here various aspects are covered ranging from the mission, vision rules & regulation of the institution to the extreme curricular activities, developing leadership qualities, safety & welfare measures etc.
OBJECTIVES
1 To develop self-confidence & leadership qualities in students at very first level.
2 To make the students aware about the value of the induction program in nursing profession.
