PRE CLINICAL LABORATORY:
A comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology and microbiology is necessary for a carrier as a nursing profession.
The lab is equipped with models, charts, to provide better understanding of Human Anatomy. Physiology and Microbiology.
The purpose of this laboratory course is to develop an understanding of the organization and general plan of the body, maintaining homeostasis, and the importance of how the human body functions through applied and practical learning.
Practical exposure to systems of study will include, but is not limited to: the study of cells and tissues, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.
Laboratory learning activities will include identification of anatomical structures, surface anatomy, and their function and relationship to homeostasis.
FACILITIES
- In our institute the Labs. Having proper lighting and good ventilation.
- The anatomy and physiology lab consist of all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, eye with different section, ear with different section, full set of dis articulated adult human skeleton, circulatory and digestive system models.
- The lab consists of biomedical waste, autoclave and sterilization models chart for various types of bacteria.
- The lab is well furnished in such a way that the students are able to acquire their knowledge through .their different demonstration
